The Red Maze
The Red Maze is a large maze with three keys hidden in gray pentagons (rocks). You must search rocks with the E key to find keys.
Once all three keys are collected, a single locker somewhere in the maze will glow with a bright white light. This glowing locker is always visible through walls.
Reach this locker and press E while close to it to escape and win.
The Backdoor
The Backdoor is a smaller, darker maze under the original. Walls are gray, the ceiling is pitch black, and only a few overhead lights provide visibility.
Three keys are again hidden in pentagons; you find them the same way as in the Red Maze. When all keys are collected, one locker will glow.
Reaching that glowing locker and pressing E will turn it dark red and slow you down, and a different locker will become the real glowing exit.
The real glowing locker is only visible when you can see it directly (it does not glow through walls), so you must carefully search the maze to find it.
The Monster
The monster patrols the maze, listening and looking for you. It moves more slowly on easier difficulties and faster on harder ones, and is slightly slower in the Backdoor.
If it sees you in its field of view and you are close enough, it will begin to chase you and will try to follow your path around corners.
It cannot pass through walls, but it will try to find paths around obstacles and may circle areas where it last saw you.
You can hide in lockers by standing close and pressing E; if the monster sees you enter a locker, it can still catch you.
Sprinting makes you louder and drains your sprint meter, but lets you create distance; once your sprint meter is low, you will move more slowly until it recovers.
Traps (Backdoor)
In the Backdoor, every 10 seconds there is a chance the monster drops a trap at its position. Traps look like lighter gray pentagons on the floor.
Stepping on a trap will freeze you in place for a short time, making it much easier for the monster to catch you. Watch the floor carefully in dark areas.
